Want to make a measurable impact in healthcare? LaSalle Network is partnering with a leading health system to hire a VP of Revenue Cycle who’s equal parts strategist and operator.
We are seeking an experienced Vice President of Revenue Cycle to lead and optimize the full spectrum of revenue cycle operations—including Front-End, Mid-Cycle, and Back-End—for a healthcare organization undergoing significant transformation. This leadership role will report directly to the CFO and play a critical part in stabilizing, aligning, and enhancing revenue cycle performance during a pivotal period of organizational change.
Provide strategic and operational leadership over all revenue cycle functions, including Patient Access, HIM, Coding (outsourced), Billing, A/R, Denials, and Collections.
Collaborate closely with executive leadership to drive alignment with financial and operational goals.
Lead a team of 5–7 direct reports and ensure accountability across revenue cycle departments.
Identify and implement process improvements that enhance efficiency, reduce denials, and improve cash flow.
Oversee and evaluate outsourced coding partnerships to ensure accuracy, compliance, and productivity.
Utilize Epic as the primary HIS to monitor revenue cycle performance and support informed decision-making.
Optional but valued: oversee Utilization Review and support efforts to improve clinical documentation and case mix.
Proven executive or senior leadership experience overseeing full revenue cycle operations in a healthcare setting.
Strong knowledge of Epic systems and workflows across the revenue cycle.
Track record of managing change in complex, fast-paced healthcare environments.
Experience with outsourced coding models and vendor management.
Maryland healthcare experience is strongly preferred.
Familiarity with Utilization Review (UR) processes is a plus.
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Availability to travel as needed
Start Date: ASAP
Hours: 40+ hours per week
Initial Commitment: Minimum of 6 months, with potential for extension
Travel: Preferred; flexible travel schedule
Reports To: CFO
